I started watching a new JDrama called “Last Cinderella” starring my previous muse from my novel “Mizuki” and my favorite actor: Miura Haruma. Within the first five minutes I was already drawn into the life of the 39 year old main character. By the time Miura actually showed up in the drama I was already interested in the show, but seeing Miura’s bad-boy side brought out in this drama caused me to become even more intrigued.
As the episodes went on, I found myself wanting more and more. Before I knew it, I had devoured all eight episodes within two days! I’m itching for the rest of the episodes to air and I’m growing impatient. I hadn’t been able to write in my newest story, which is still untitled, and I found that watching “Last Cinderella” was a nice escape. Not only that, but Miura’s acting stirred something deep within my soul that I haven’t felt since I wrote “Mizuki” using Miura as my muse. I was able to write a chapter and a quarter today, but suddenly my inspiration to write died out. I’m starting to wonder if maybe the person I am using as my muse isn’t the “right fit” after all. Perhaps since Miura had inspired me so much for my previous novel I should go back to using Miura as my muse. Stick with what works, right? If Miura works as my muse, then why not?
If you haven’t watched this drama, I highly recommend it. It’s funny, sweet, and heartbreaking all at the same time! It’s addicting and there are even some “omg, I can’t believe that just happened” moments. Great drama! Go watch it. Now! What are you still doing here? Just kidding! But seriously, check out this drama if you are looking for a new romance drama or something to make you laugh!
