My Three Favorite Teas…So far.

mint to be

The very first black tea I had by David’s Tea was Mint to Be. I smelled it at the store and automatically fell in love with the rich scent of peppermint and coconut. It truly is an amazing combination and I absolutely LOVE it. Mind you, it all depends on how long you steep it. I bought a cup at David’s Tea and forgot to take out the tea bag, it was way too strong and ruined the flavor for me, but if you like strong teas, you’ll like it steeped as long as possible. However, for myself, I don’t want to have a strong flavor for black teas, I prefer lighter flavor for the black tea itself but strong flavors when it comes to coconut, caramel, and peppermint. I was hooked the moment I had this tea and the same day I went back to the store and bought $100 worth of teas to try. It was my starter “sampler” pack as I like to call it.

sweet-dreams

My second favorite tea is in the herbal category and it’s supposed to help with sleep. It’s called Sweet Dreams. The flavor of chamomile is quite strong compared to the other ingredients of lemongrass, hibiscus, licorice root, lemon peel, orange peel, lemon myrtle, fennel seeds, and rose petals, but I LOVE chamomile anyway. I was buying the chamomile tea from Superstore or Wal-Mart and they always tasted WAY too weak for my taste. I wanted a tea with a stronger flavor of chamomile to satisfy me, and I came across Sweet Dreams at David’s and instantly fell in love with it. I also had a way better sleep, I didn’t even wake up in the middle of the night like I normally do.

strawberry

My third favorite tea, after trying probably ten other teas, is Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait. I was feeling a little frustrated that a lot of the other teas I had tried smelled delicious, but were either weak tasting in their flavoring or too strong. I smelled this one before I decided to try it today and boy, am I glad I settled on this one. The moment I tried it, I felt super happy to have found another favorite. This is definitely a delicious tea. It’s not too bitter from the rhubarb and it’s not too sweet either. It’s a perfect blend of both strawberry, rhubarb, yogurt pieces, hibiscus, raisins, carrot, beetroot, and apple. Who needs dessert when you can have this delicious tea. It saves your waistline and satisfies your taste buds. This is a tea that will be used when I am craving something to pick me up at night or just take me away to a more “warm” place instead of the winter and snow here.
