Answer the following questions in as much detail as you can (this is mostly to record these memories as well as help pinpoint emotions). How did the engagement happen?
What were you thinking about when he/she proposed?
How did you feel when he/she proposed?
Did you notice any changes in his/her behavior in the weeks before the proposal? The day of the proposal?
Were you expecting the proposal? What made you think that it was going to happen?
How do you feel right now when you think about the fact that you are now engaged and getting married?
All of the journals are going to focus primarily on your feelings during your engagement and for you to note any differences in feelings and what may have occurred to make you feel that way. If you would like to record your entries online, I recommend using Google Docs. Or I recommend using a cheap notebook, which you can find on Amazon:
